The latest trend in workplace wellness is the creation of worksite health clinics. These clinics provide primary medical care and rehabilitation services to a company's employees and their dependents.

A new study reports the early results of some companies who created these onsite clinics for their workers.

A recent study by the Society for Human Resource Management shows that companies who have created onsite health clinics are reporting the programs successful. 

Over half the companies in the study reported using their onsite clinics to address chronic conditions for their employees. A great statistic to note is the 63% of respondents who reported a reduction in lost workdays.

When employers already spend so much time and money on health care coverage for their employees and dependents, it only makes sense that there is a trend towards creating onsite clinics.
